The Venice Festival of Media sponsored by AD Europe will focus three key elements:

1. A two-day conference featuring speakers from all sides of the global media advertising industry, including advertisers, agency networks, media owners, content providers, researchers and media technology developers.

The 2008 agenda will include plenary sessions featuring keynote speakers and encouraging delegate interaction through interactive keypad technologies, and streamed sessions creating the time and space for delegates to focus on particular areas of media communications which are at the top of their current agenda.

2. A two-day exhibition featuring demonstrations from media owners, content developers, technology providers, researchers and agencies and allowing delegates to learn about the very latest opportunities for more creative media communications in a relaxed networking environment.

3. Networking opportunities: In addition to the scheduled conference sessions, the full Festival agenda will incorporate scheduled social networking opportunities. Delegates will attend a welcome reception for all delegates, a VIP cocktail reception and, as a finale, a gala dinner located in one of Venice's many historical sites – the Arsenale, originally home to renaissance shipbuilders and now host to a gala dinner featuring celebrity entertainment.
